You should not only know the formulas in these problems, but it would be a good idea to remember them.

Problems 9-20
The first step in really using the metric system is know the appropriate unit to use. These questions are making sure you know which units are used for measuring length, capacity, weight, and temperature. See the Essential Ideas for this section.

Problems 21-29
These are estimation problems. Do not answer these questions by doing any direct measuring.

These questions are making sure you know the meanings of the metric prefixes.
