There are many problems throughout the text labeled IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Just relax. Do not be afraid to give your opinion. For the most part, these questions do not have "right" or "wrong" answers. You should spend about five minutes answering each of these questions.

Problems 15-30
Begin each problem by identifying the parts of the percent problem (see Example 3). Then, finish solving the proportion and described in the Section 4.2.

These are estimation problems; see Example 2.

Problems 39-53
See Examples 4-7. Don't try to find an example that is just like the question. Instead, spend some time with each of these examples (with paper and pencil) until you understand them.
