There are many problems throughout the text labeled IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
Just relax. Do not be afraid to give your opinion. For the most part,
these questions do not have "right" or "wrong" answers. You should spend
about five minutes in answering each of these questions.

If you multiply by a fraction larger than 1, the product is larger;
if you multiply by a fraction smaller than 1, the product is smaller.
See Example 1.
See Examples 2 and 3.
See Examples 4 an 5.
See Example 6; take a lot of time looking though this example. It is
really the most important example of this section and will help you through
many of these problems.
See Example 7.
See Example 8
These problems involve mixed operations with fractions. Remember, to add
or subtract you need a common denominator. If the problem uses "of," it
is probably a multiplication of fractions. If division is involved, you
"invert and multiply."
