Consider (in order)
1*4 = 4
2*4=8
3*4 = 12, and 1 + 2 = 3
4*4 = 16, and 1 + 6 = 7
5*4 = 20, and 2 + 0 = 2
6*4 = 24, and 2 + 4 = 6
7*4 = 28 and 2 + 8 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1
8*4 = 32, and 3 + 2 = 5
9*4 = 36, and 3 + 6 = 9
10*4 = 40, and 4 + 0 = 4
11*4 = 44, and 4 + 4 = 8
It seems that we have found a pattern. What is that pattern?
