Problems 33-36
First decide on the universal set for each problem (see Example 1).
Next, note in Problem 33, the universe is divided into two parts: people
over 30 and people who are 30 or under. If the parts divide up the universe
(with nothing being left out) is called a partiton. Note that
males and females form a partition in Problem 34.
Finally, draw
the other sets using circles and label the parts you have drawn.
